Inclusive by design
Every activity adapts to the participant. Physical, sensory, cognitive, neurodivergent — we meet each person exactly where they are.
MusTPAD is a UK registered charity that provides free music tuition, workshops and live performance opportunities for disabled children and adults. We adapt every session to the person — never the other way around.
Our mission is to empower individuals of all ages living with disabilities and mental health challenges to access, create, and experience live music without barriers. Through inclusive one-to-one teaching, adaptive instrument design, community workshops and opportunities to perform and attend live events. We actively foster confidence, creativity, and connection.
We are committed to providing all our services free of charge, delivered by highly trained and vetted staff, ensuring a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for every participant and their carers.
Beyond individual impact, we strive to transform the wider music industry by normalising the presence and participation of disabled people, advocating for accessibility, and inspiring lasting, positive change in attitudes, practices, and infrastructure.
Every activity adapts to the participant. Physical, sensory, cognitive, neurodivergent — we meet each person exactly where they are.
Participants and families shape what we do. This is your programme — not ours. We listen first, always.
Real stages, real audiences. The experience of performing live is transformative — every participant deserves it.
No participant or family ever pays for our services. Our work is funded entirely by donations and grants.
We work with academic researchers to understand and measure the impact of music on wellbeing and development.
If it isn't joyful, we're not doing it right. Music should feel like a warm embrace — for everyone in the room.
